Queenslanders love their sport and the sunshine state is host to 7 games including the opening game of the Rugby League World Cup when England takes on PNG in Tropical Townsville. Games are also being played on the Gold Coast, Rockhampton and Brisbane, who takes centre stage by hosting a semi final and the final at the world class Suncorp Stadium.
Ten of the world's best nations will be contesting the 2008 World Cup including Australia, England, New Zealand, France, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Ireland and Scotland.
