Sail with the Whitsundays most experienced live-aboard fully crewed sailing company. Established in 1985, Australian Tall Ship Cruises and Southern Cross Sailing carry 20,000 guests a year on two and six day sailing holidays. Guests can choose between: Adventure Sailing for the 18 to 35s and the young at heart, Tall Ship and Deluxe Cruises which operate in three and four star markets and offer tours for families to couples of all ages. Tours are fully inclusive of meals and explore beautiful locations such as Whitehaven Beach, Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island, Mantaray Bay and Nara Inlet on Hook Island. Whitsunday Magic also sails to the Outer Barrier Reef and includes optional Dive Service. During a tour guests are welcome to get involved or just relax and take in the views. Tours include snorkelling on coral reefs, beach stops and island walks. Tours are all eco-certified.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Children: Children are welcome on the Tall Ship Solway Lass or Whitsunday Magic on the proviso that the children do not disturb other guests, the confinement of a boat can echo noise and parents must be advised that the comfort of all guests is important. Children are not allowed to run around the ship unsupervised. The parents must provide a suitable life-vest that is to be worn while the child is on deck. From previous experience, parents with children have thoroughly enjoyed their tour and the children are in awe of the surrounds. Plus the crew let the children become involved with helping to pull ropes and the like which the children enjoy.
Miscellaneous:
Cancellations must be notified 72 hours in advance otherwise full trip charges will apply. It's highly recommended that you obtain travel Insurance to protect against last minute cancellations. Postponement/Transfer of a trip will be allowed 72 hours prior to departure. Postponement/transfer within 72 hours of departure will be considered based on the merit of the circumstances causing the postponement and availability on departures. All departures are from Abel Point Marina Airlie Beach, except Whitsunday Magic's Monday departure from Hamilton Island or Shute Harbour.
It's requested that guests bring small soft sided bags for the tour.
Courtesy Bus Pickups are provided from local accommodation to and from the Marina.
The Solway Lass provides share accommodation, however private double/twin accommodation is available at an extra charge of AUD30.00 for adults and concession. Discount cards from Youth Hostel Australia, VIP Backpackers and Nomads are accepted, however these cards must be represented and card number recorded to obtain discount. Rates do not include the Marine and National Park entrance/administration fees. AUD32.00 is payable on Check-in to cover Marine Park EMC, National Park Walks, Administration and Goods and Services Tax. Wet Suits are available for hire. Scuba Diving is available as an optional extra.
