Description

The South Burnett Region hosts many historical and recreational attractions. The region is home to the great Bunya Pine Forest of Australia the Bunya Mountains and two great dams 'Lake Boondooma' and 'Bjelke-Petersen Dam' that have accommodation, boating, fishing and kiosk facilities located at the dams. The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is another famous recreational attraction in the South Burnett open for walking, cycling or riding with scenic views to the Brisbane Valley.
