Visitors within Australia

Most interstate travellers have the choice of flying to Queensland with Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar or Tiger Airways. Flights to major towns are frequent and regional airports are dispersed throughout the state. For a map of Queensland airports, view our Maps or see a full list of Air Carriers in Queensland.

There are varied flight options to take you from coast to coast, inland to island or overland in style. Many operators offer personal chartered flights or affordable seats for the whole family.

  • The AirTrain runs every 30 minutes from 6am to 7pm every day and connects to Central station.
  • The domestic terminal is separate from the international terminal, but AirTrain provides a 5-minute connection.
