The ""MV Kooringal Trader"" is the only vehicular and passenger ferry service operating to the southern shores of Moreton Island from North Stradbroke Island. The services provides the perfect ""Gateway to Moreton Island"" opening the natural wonders of one of the world's most beautiful, unspoilt sand islands.
Vehicles and passengers embark upon a sand only entrance or departure from Reeders Point, near Kooringal. Four wheel drive vehicles are essential. The ""MV Kooringal Trader"" is also available for charter tours or freight services.

Children: Children are welcome.
Disabled: Disabled facilities are very limited, wheelchair access but sand landing requires vehicle pick-up.
Miscellaneous:
No refunds are available. Tickets are vaild for 12 months from date of purchase.
Permits for travel and camping on Moreton Island are mandatory. Please contact National Parks and Wildlife prior to departure.
Depart via Cleveland upon a North Stradbroke Island Ferry or Water Taxi to Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island, follow the signs to Amity Point to board the "MV Kooringal Trader" for a short 20 minute trip to Reeders Point, near the township of Kooringal.
The "MV Kooringal Trader" will also carry trailers at a cost of AUD 50.00. Children under 15 years of age travel free of charge as long as under adult supervision.
