With over 100 services a week to Sydney, Brisbane and North Queensland, the Rockhampton Airport provides a vital service to the Rockhampton district, Capricorn Coast and the Central Queensland mining communities of the Bowen Basin. In addition to these QantasLink, Virgin Blue and Jetstar flights, Tiger Airways has commenced flights to and from Melbourne and regular charter services are available to Great Keppel Island and Western Queensland communities.

Note: Opening hours of the Airport terminal are approximate only and will alter with changes to the various flight schedules of the associated airlines. Office hours are 0800 to 1630 and the airport is open from 0500 to 2130.

The Airport provides standard and disabled toilet facilities, public telephones, a flight viewing area, cafe and souvenir shop, newsagency and visitor seating. Virgin Blue provides self check-in facilities.

With free parking for airport patrons, passenger pick-up and set-down areas at the front of the terminal building and current expansion of its carpark, the Rockhampton Airport provides convenient parking to the community and the many passengers travelling to/from Rockhampton.
Car hire outlets are situated within the terminal building and are open during regular working hours. Rocky cabs provides a taxi service from the front doors of the terminal building and free taxi phones are located inside the building.
