For a family holiday, there are heaps of things to do together, but when mum and dad want some time out, the Kids Club gives three to 12 year olds plenty to do. All 160 rooms are well-appointed with four grades of accommodation, each with beach or tropical garden views. On this family-friendly island children also stay and eat free.

Children: Children are welcome. Children 12 years and under stay and eat free at Dunk Island by Voyages, using existing bedding (extra person rate applies for rollaway bed). When only one adult is travelling with children, the sole use adult rate will apply to the booking. Children 12 years and under eat free when dining with a paying adult and eating from buffet or children's menu. Dunk Island Kids Club offers a range of great activities, fully supervised by professional staff. Open daily, year round, with a morning session from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and an evening session from 5.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Eligible age group is three to 12 years (three to 16 years during Australian school holidays). Charges apply. Babysitting available, charges apply.
Disabled: Access is available for guests with a disability. Two units provide wheelchair access with assistance.
Miscellaneous:
One month to seven days - full refund of all monies paid where applicable. Within seven days including bookings made within this period - a cancellation fee equivalent to one nights accommodation per person will be charged.
Casual resort style beach wear for daytime, smart casual for after 6.00 p.m.. Also include camera, sunscreen, insect repellent and suitable footwear for beach access and island walks. Dinner - available 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. in the Beachcomber Restaurant, varies from table d'hote to themed buffets such as seafood or Mediterranean style. From 11.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. the cascade pool bar is also open serving drinks and light snacks (weather permitting).

Flights are available via Cairns with Qantas from all major Australian capital cities to Dunk Island daily. Flights from Cairns Domestic Airport to Dunk Island are operated by Hinterland Aviation. Launch transfers daily from Clump Point jetty to Dunk Island jetty. Water taxi transfers daily from Mission Beach (Wongaling) to Dunk Island Beach spit (passengers embark/disembark via shallow waters).
