XXXX, its Queensland for beer, but have you ever wondered how this iconic brew got its name, would like to see something different, have a good time and taste their beers? Then come to the XXXX Brewery Tour.

Experience the inner workings of this heritage brewery, explore the story of beer, and gain an insight into the 130 year history of a Queensland icon.

Lasting approximately one hour and 15 minutes, your beer journey starts in the XXXX Ale House Visitor Centre where you'll learn the origins of beer and brewing, and the colourful story of XXXX and its place in Queensland history. See the inner workings of the XXXX Brewery as you walk through the heart of this heritage-listed site, learning about the raw ingredients and brewing processes that are the foundation of the beers.

In the Packaging Hall you'll see the southern hemisphere's biggest single packaging line, there aren't many breweries in the world where you get this close to the action! There's something quite mesmerising about thousands of beer bottles flying by!

Learn to pour yourself a perfect beer and taste it like a brewer, then relax in the Ale House bar and enjoy their famous beers, brewery-fresh!

Children are welcome however they need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Disabled:
There are facilities which assist those carrying a disability. There is wheelchair access to XXXX Ale House and the Visitor Centre. Special arrangements can be made to view a video presentation covering the workings of the XXXX Brewery in place of the walk through the Brewery.

Further Details:
The XXXX Ale House is open to the public for lunch from their menu Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. They also offer a barbecue buffet lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Enjoy a bite to eat with your brewery-fresh beer in a relaxed atmosphere.
As you are walking through a working brewery, flat fully covered shoes must be worn on the tour and alcohol must not be consumed prior to the tour.
The Brewery Tour lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes, plus additional time for tasting in the Ale House bar. Bookings are essential.

How To Get There:
Only minutes from Brisbane's city centre, and 300 metres from Suncorp Stadium, the XXXX Brewery Tour commences from the XXXX Ale House which is located in the famous XXXX Brewery. The entrance is located in Paten Street Milton (off Milton Road), and the tour desk is on level one.
Limited parking is available underneath in the XXXX Ale House car park, and metered street parking surrounds. The Milton Railway station is located opposite the Brewery, and is only two stops from Brisbane Central Station (on the Ipswich line). Brisbane City Council buses also service Milton Road.
