Turaku is a new tour company striving to join the market leaders by providing high quality, value for money tours.

Turaku feel that the natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland should be enjoyed in the relaxed and stress free environment provided by good company and a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. When you book your tour you will be reserving a private car for your group only. They only cater for up to six guests per trip and include a food package.

The platypus Tour provides an exciting taste of most aspects of the Sunshine Coast area. View the blue /grey Glasshouse Mountain family, spread like chess pieces on a green board. Have a swim in a cascade fed rockpool or in the surf. Drive through Irish green hills and small, tourism driven towns.

Stroll along a beach, a shopping street or through a rainforest, complete with wildlife. Follow a raised board-walk around a sandy bay with calm blue water to a rocky beach with the surf surging below your feet.

The tour is very flexible around the basic route so talk to your driver about changes. Don't forget to bring your camera and take some exceptional photos.

Platypus Tour

The Platypus Tour is a full day excursion provided by Turaku. The basic route travels from Brisbane through Maleny, Mapleton, Noosa, Caloundra and back to Brisbane. Within this route the tour is very flexible with time spent at any point able to be extended, shortened or eliminated all together. However, it must be remembered that 4.30 p.m. is the latest time the tour will start back to Brisbane.
