12 Day Outback Queensland & Dinosaur Trail 4WD Accommodated Safari

Carisbrooke Station

All Aussies proudly claim Australia's Outback as their own and boast of its extremes - its vastness, its "droughts and flooding rains", its tragedies and triumphs, an extremely rich and colourful legacy.

Queensland's Outback has more than its fair share of our country's outback spoils from awesome prehistoric dinosaurs to the birthplaces of Qantas, Waltzing Matilda, the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Australian Labor Party. It's also where "The Black Stump" is, where Jackie Howe sheared 321 sheep in a single day with blade shears, where "Robbery Under Arms" character Captain Starlight once rode and where in recent times mining is transforming the landscape and outback culture.

Add the grandeur of Porcupine Gorge, vast Mitchell Grass plains, bounding Big Red kangaroos and comical Emus, the "Outer Barcoo" of Banjo Patterson's "A Bush Christening" fame and the fabulous Carnarvon Gorge and you have a wonderful region full of surprises we would love to share with you.

So ... why not come along on this ride to adventure, this journey of discovery?
