Description

Paddletrek Kayak Adventures offer guided kayak tours, exploring Cape Tribulation's beaches, reefs, mangroves and marine wildlife. They will take you into the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park from where you will have spectacular views of the ancient Daintree Rainforest. Out on the water, you will be gliding over coral reefs, gazing back at the lush rainforest and tropical beaches, looking out for turtles, dugongs, sea eagles, dolphins and stingrays.

The Daintree coast is where the rainforest meets the reef. Kayaking is an awesome and eco friendly way to experience this amazing and unique environment and learn more about it. So get close to nature and come on an adventure!

Paddletrek does not require any previous experience. Tuition and all equipment is provided. Sturdy double and single kayaks are available and children age six and upward are welcome to join their parents.

How To Get There:
Departure is from the Beach House Bistro, which is located two kilometres north of Cape Tribulation Beach and sign posted. They have a courtesy transfer from all accommodation in the Cape Tribulation area.

Service Information:
They provide lifejackets, stinger suits (seasonal) and dry bags. Refreshments are also included in the tour.

Morning Adventure Paddle

This tour is an adventure along the beautiful Daintree coastline, exploring everything it has to offer from the beaches to the mangroves, the reefs and the marine wildlife.

Take to the waters of Cape Tribulation bay and explore the unique environment where the rainforest meets the reef. Your experienced local guide will lead you around the magnificent Cape Trib headland while looking out for marine wildlife. They will almost always see turtles and there is also the possibility to see dugong, dolphins, stingrays and a variety of other marine wildlife. They will land on Myall Beach for a rest, relax and morning tea of tropical fruit juice and homemade cake. On the way back to Cape Trib beach explore the fringing coral reefs, taking in the stunning views of the coastal mountain ranges.
