The purpose built diver training facility in Airlie Beach; Dive HQ specializes in all PADI Scuba Diving Courses from absolute learn to dive beginner to Instructor training.

Dive HQ- PADI Open Water Diver Course

The P.A.D.I. Open Water Certification Course is your passport to an exciting new world of adventure. The course will teach you the skills to safely and comfortably explore the underwater world. The course involves a three step process. First you will participate in classroom sessions where you will watch audio-visual presentations on topics such as scuba equipment use, the marine environment, dive planning and more. Next you will learn and practice scuba skills in the familiar surrounds of a clear swimming pool. Here you will gain confidence in using the scuba equipment. After your pool training you will be ready for your four Open water training dives, which are conducted over two days on the Great Barrier Reef, the largest reef formation in the world and one of the seven wonders of the world. The course typically takes four fun filled days, the highlight of which will be a trip to the Great Barrier Reef.

Dive HQ - PADI Scuba Diver Certification

A small compact PADI scuba diving course with one day of pool and classroom theory and one day of diving out on the Great Barrier Reef. After completion of the PADI Scuba Diver Course you will be able to dive to 12 metre deep anywhere in the world with a certified PADI diver. Is it hard to get tourists to commit to a four day dive course? This could be a great alternative. They become PADI certified in just two days!

Full Day Great Barrier Reef Tour
