And you can see them all with the Gladstone Area Promotion and Development Limited's award winning free Industry Tours.

Explore the inner workings of these remarkable industrial giants and gain an insight into what drives industry in Queensland. Tours last from one and a half to three hours and depart from the Gladstone Information Centre on specific weekdays.

NRG Gladstone Power Station Tour

Departing on Mondays at 1pm from the Gladstone Visitor Information Centre, this tour takes approximately one and a half hours.

Gladstone Ports Corporation Tour

Departing Tuesdays at 10am from the Gladstone Visitor Information Centre, this tour takes approximately one and half hours.

Sturdy enclosed shoes must be worn.

Mine to Market Tour

Departing Fridays at 0830am from the Gladstone Visitor Information Centre, this combined tour takes approximately three hours and covers both Queensland Alumina Ltd and Boyne Smelters Ltd.

Visitors must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and enclosed shoes.

Please note: Due to the electromagnetic fields caused by the reduction lines at Boyne Smelter, it is compulsory that visitors with any medical implants such as pacemakers or cochlear implants do NOT attend the Boyne Smelter Ltd section of the Tour.

Following the refinery tour, the bus will return to the Information Centre before departing on the Smelter Tour.
