Cancellation Information:
No refund will be given for any cancellations within 24 hours of travel, or for passengers who fail to appear on day of departure.

Disabled Facilities:
Down Under Tours do not have wheelchair access, however assistance can be provided upon request.

Further Details:
Tours do not operate on Christmas Day. Kuranda tours do not operate on Skyrail and Kuranda Scenic Rail maintenance days.

Hotel Pick-up:
Down Under Tours offers a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to all Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas Accommodation (pick-ups not available from Holloways Beach or Yorkeys Knob).

Kuranda All Inclusive

Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park: This morning you will be greeted by your driver, who will collect your voucher and issue your Kuranda Boarding Pass. We then transfer you to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. On arrival, meet your Indigenous guide who will show you through the remainder of the Park, including bush food demonstrations, didgeridoo demonstrations and the famous Tjapukai Dance Troupe. Enjoy a buffet lunch in the Boomerang Restaurant.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: A short distance from Tjapukai is the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Proceed directly to the boarding line - there is no need to queue as your Skyrail tickets are already on your Boarding Pass. Once aboard, be amazed as you glide silently over the rainforest. There are two stations en route where you can alight.

Kuranda Village: Upon arrival in Kuranda, you have free time to do your own exploring.!

Kuranda Scenic Rail: At the scheduled time, present your Kuranda Boarding Pass at the Kuranda Station ticket window - your tickets are already on your Boarding Pass. After boarding the train, your journey winds through hand-hewn tunnels, across bridges and around curves. Upon arrival at Freshwater Station, our coach will transfer you to your accommodation.

Kuranda Rail and Skyrail

Kuranda Scenic Rail : Start your day with a transfer from your accommodation to Freshwater Station for check-in. Time then for an historical rail journey to Kuranda, enjoying breathtaking views across the cane fields of Cairns to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda.

Kuranda Village : Upon arrival in Kuranda, it's time to explore this fascinating village. The Heritage Markets operate seven days a week and are full of colourful and interesting arts and crafts. You might also like to visit Birdworld, the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary or Kuranda Koala Gardens (at your own expense).

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: At the scheduled time, board Skyrail the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. There are two stops en route to explore, including boardwalks and the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. Their coach is waiting at Caravonica Lakes to transfer you to your accommodation.

Cape Tribulation and Daintree

Join Down Under Eco Tours for a day exploring Cape Tribulation.

Your driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation and travel to Daintree. After crossing the Daintree River, visit the Daintree Environmental Centre for morning tea and a chance to learn the fascinating secrets of one of the world's oldest rainforests.

Continue onto Cape Tribulation. Next stop is a delicious lunch in a rainforest setting, stopping at Alexandra Lookout.

Enjoy a calm water cruise on the Daintree River before the return journey to Cairns, before arriving back at your accommodation after a fascinating day.

Kuranda Rail, Skyrail and Hartley's Crocodile Adventures

After a transfer to Freshwater Station, board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail for a breathtaking journey on one of the world's most scenic operational rail journeys.

Limited free time is allowed on arrival in Kuranda before boarding Skyrail at 11.30 a.m. Relax and enjoy the world's most beautiful rainforest experience with two stops enroute.

Time then to transfer to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures - the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland. There is plenty of free time to explore this unique park and all its attractions (lunch own expense).

Hartleys Crocodile Adventures

Take a half day tour at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures - the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland.

Join the unique eco experience of the lagoon cruise through ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands; the domain of the saltwater crocodile. Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries.

See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show and the opportunity to hold a crocodile for a photo (own expense). Discover the world's most venomous snakes at the Snake Show before the return transfer to your accommodation.

Daintree Walkabout

A fantastic tour today, with a higlight being a one and a half hour guided rainforest walk with your Indigenous Kuku Yalanji Dreamtime Walk guide at Mossman Gorge. Learn about traditional plant use, bush tucker and dreamtime legends. Also included in tea, damper and question time.

On then to Silky Oaks Lodge for a delicious lunch overlooking the Mossman River. An informative cruise on the Daintree River is next - keep your eyes peeled for unique wildlife, including the elusive saltwater crocodile.

Scomazzon Fruit Farm is our next stop, where you enjoy a tropical fruit tasting of fruits in season.

Enjoy a short tour of Port Douglas before returning to your accommodation.

Kuranda Rail, Skyrail and Rainforestation

After picking up from your Hotel, check-in at Freshwater Station before boarding the Kuranda Scenic Rail.

Explore the village of Kuranda before transferring to Rainforestation. Included in your visit is a barbecue lunch, Army Duck, Pamagirri Dancers and the Koala and Wildlife Park.

After transferring back to Kuranda, board Skyrail, the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. There are two stops enroute to explore. Upon arrival at Caravonica Lakes, our coach is waiting to return you to your accommodation.
