Description
After dark, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary's Yanguwah experience immerses guests in an engaging evening of Indigenous Australia and native wildlife. The experience includes a traditional welcome ceremony, Kup Murri feast, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander song and dance performance.
Feed a friendly mob of kangaroos, hold a koala or even a crocodile!
Doors open at 5.30 p.m. for a 6.00 p.m. start!
During Yanguwah, which means 'Welcome' in the local Yugambeh language, you will experience traditional culture, proudly brought to you by the Jaran Dance Troupe, who provide the only daily Aboriginal and Islander dance performance on the Gold Coast.

Four hours notice is required to amend dates of visit. 24 hours notice is required to cancel. Bookings close at 2.00 p.m. that day.
Hotel Pick-up:
Yanguwah departs from the main entrance of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a totally unique experience. Transfers can be arranged for Yanguwah from Surfers Paradise south for additional charge. Tours operate nightly from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, Doors open at 5.30 p.m. for a 6.00 p.m. start.

How To Get There:
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is just five minutes drive north from the Gold Coast Airport, 10 minutes north of Coolangatta, 20 minutes south of Surfers Paradise and just one hour south of Brisbane via the M1. 100 metres from Currumbin Beach.
Tariff Information:
Yanguwah runs Tuesday to Saturday inclusive with the program commencing at 5.30 p.m. All tariffs include: wildlife viewing, Aboriginal Corroboree, Torres Strait Island show and feast. Yanguwah does not run on Christmas Day.
