Nestled amongst the foothills of World Heritage-listed, Mt Barney National Park, Mt Barney Lodge is a unique country escape that offers a variety of accommodation and Eco Accredited adventure activities. Their award winning (2007 QORF 'Environmental Award') activities are diverse, educational, and are tailored to suit participants of different ages, fitness levels and abilities.
Activities range from their Sunset Eco Walk for the nature lovers; exciting interpretative activities for the children; or guided walks up Mt Barney, rock climbing or abseiling for the adventure seeker.
For those wanting to explore on their own, the surrounding national park offers spectacular views, endangered wildlife, rare plants and cascading rivers all at the back door of Mt Barney Lodge.

How to get There
After coming from Brisbane or the Gold Coast via Beaudesert, follow the Mount Lindesay Highway south to Rathdowney. Just after the Rathdowney township, turn right into the Boonah-Rathdowney Road, and follow this for about 10 minutes. Take the first left onto Upper Logan Road. This turn is well marked, and has a brown sign indicating Mt Barney Lodge as well. Follow Upper Logan Road for about 13 kilometres, including a small section of well graded dirt at the end. There are signs at every intersection along Upper Logan Road indicating the way to Mt Barney Lodge.
