Awarded Crisco Australia's Best Fish 'n' Chips Shop, The Fishmonger's Wife opened for business on 19 June 2002 and since then has provided high quality gourmet seafood and salads, seasoned and marinated in a variety of international flavours.
Owners Sue and Steve Meadowcroft found a niche market in providing low-fat seafood options by char grilling seafood and providing freshly made salads and/or steamed jasmine rice as a side instead of chips, but of course the traditional battered and fried fish 'n' chips are also available. The Fishmonger's Wife offers both take-away and an outdoor or indoor air-conditioned dining area and is Bring Your Own (BYO).
