The Fishmongers Wife at Dicky Beach is a specialty fish and chips cafe, known both for their original recipes for marinated seafood and freshly prepared salads, and also the high quality of their traditional fish and chips. The Fishmongers Wife provides both a casual dining experience (Bring Your Own) and a takeaway service, with indoor seating for 30, outdoor seating for 24.

Their emphasis is a range of top quality fresh Australian filleted fish, such as Snapper, Atlantic Salmon, and Barramundi, marinated in a variety of International flavours, as well as more economical fish, such as Cod and Dory. A variety of other seafood is for sale - Garlic Prawns, Sea Scallops, Salt Pepper and Garlic Calamari, and Thai Fish Cakes.

The Fishmongers Wife aspires to provide five star quality seafood, cooked by the Sunshine Coast's top chefs for takeaway prices. They offer a variety of cooking approaches emphasising a clean low fat version of seafood. Their Beer Batter Chips are always available; as well the low cholesterol alternative steamed Jasmine Rice. Salads freshly prepared on the premises and in styles reflective of the marinades and seafood on display finish the complete meal. They have extensive gluten free menu range available.
