Description
At Suncoast Barra Fishing Park, you can catch yourself a whoppa Barramundi! You will be provided with the ultimate fishing experience as you endeavour to catch one of the most sought after fish in the world - the Barramundi.
Fully stocked with Barramundi, Whiting, Bream, Mangrove Jack, Trevally and Snapper, this salt-water fishing park is a great place to experience the thrill of catch and release.
Professional fishermen are on hand to help you jag the catch of your life. You can even purchase your catch and enjoy a fresh feast.
The Barra Park is conveniently located right next door to Suncoast Cable Watersports (formerly Ski n Skurf) and only a 10 minute drive from Maroochydore.
With three lakes, Barra Creek, Big Boys Pond and Mixed Species Pond there isn't a minimum of size or quantity of fish you can catch.

With an onsite Tackle kiosk, you can purchase all your extra lures, floats, bait right at the park. They also have various drinks, food and lollies available for purchase as well. You can even hire extra fishing rods to improve your catching chances!
Maybe you would like to make a day of your visit - bring your lunch and take advantage of their free barbecue facilities and sheltered areas.
Inclusions:
AUD5.00 Three Hour Rod Hire and AUD10.00 Full Day Rod Hire.
People are welcome to bring their own fishing tackle and rod. A tub of pellets and a spare hook are included in the ticketed price. Additional bait and tackle are available onsite. Check website for winter opening hours and special winter prices. Extra Bait Prices are: Pellets - AUD2.50 per tub; Hooks - AUD1.50 per five hooks; and Whole barramundi to keep for AUD20.00 per kilogram.
Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Contact the operator for further details.
