The State Library of Queensland is Australia's leading library of Queensland's documentary heritage, major reference and research collections, and an advocate of and partner with public libraries across Queensland.

The State Library presents an exciting and diverse public program and almost everything is free! From exhibitions to seminars, talks and tours to breakfast discussions, film screenings and school holiday workshops, there is something of interest for everyone.

ENTRY INFORMATION

Open Times:
Open from 1000 until 2000 Monday to Thursday. Open from 1000 until 1700 Friday to Sunday. Closed public holidays. There is a changing program of events film screenings, exhibitions and talks. Almost everything is free.

The State Library of Queensland is located at South Bank. There is ample transport to South Bank by bus, train or CityCat. If you are driving, there is on street parking.
