Description

Everything has a story to tell and the graves in Augathella St Patricks Catholic Churchyard are no exception.

The graves have stories dating back to 1868. Imagine living in a time when something as simple as teething was a cause of death, and the heartache you would feel as you live through burying not only your husband but many of your children too. This is the story of these graves and Catherine Burns (nee Cavanagh). Want to know more?
