Description
Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is a unique rainforest experience taking you on an unforgettable journey over Australia's World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest and deep into the forest.
Spanning seven and half kilometres, Skyrail has comfortable six person gondola cabins which glide just metres above the canopy providing uninterrupted views of the rainforest, Cairns' tropical region, Coral Sea and lush Cairns Highlands. Your adventure includes time at two mid-stations where you can learn more about this fascinating environment from the forest floor.
At Red Peak Station qualified Rangers provide guided boardwalk tours sharing their knowledge on these ancient tropical forests, easy access walkways at Barron Falls Station take you to three separate lookouts providing breathtaking views of Barron Gorge and Barron Falls. Visit the hi-tech Rainforest Interpretation Centre at Barron Falls Station, housing touch screen computers and interactive audio-visual presentations; the Centre provides an informative and fun learning experience enhancing your appreciation of the rainforest.

Children:
Children are welcome however they must be accompanied by an adult.
Disabled:
Access is available for guests with a disability. Wheelchairs provided - some restrictions apply on owner provided wheelchairs - for example weight and size. Suitable toilets available as well as reserved car parking and ramp access to most areas. Please advise Skyrail Reservations at the time of booking.
Other Facilities:
Refreshments - for example soft drinks and water - are available at both Caravonica and Kuranda Terminals. At Caravonica Terminal, Skyrail's Canopy Cafe serves freshly brewed barista coffees, as well as a selection of teas, cool refreshments, savoury snacks and sweet treats, including sandwiches and focaccias, cakes and biscuits.

Restrictions:
No plants to be taken on cableway. No food or drinks can be consumed on the cableway. No smoking allowed.
Further Details:
While you are at Skyrail's Barron Falls Station, make sure you visit the state of the art Rainforest Interpretation Centre, which Skyrail developed in conjunction with the CSIRO, Australia's national science organisation. The Interpretation Centre houses multi-lingual (English, German and Japanese) touch screen computers and interactive audio-visual presentations, providing an informative and fun learning experience for people of all ages.
Other activities that you can engage in include guided tours, visiting the waterfall, boardwalks and lookouts.
