Description

The Skydive Ramblers Post Equinox Boogie held at Toogoolawah, near Brisbane, is Australia's largest international music and skydiving festival and is a visual smorgasbord of skydiving action and parachuting colour.

Held every two years in October, the biennial skydiving event encompasses all disciplines of the sport and attracts over 300 Australian and international skydivers, plus many spectators to the Drop Zone.

The nine-day festival will see all forms of skydiving take place, including night sky diving and fantastic evening entertainment. Jumpers get excited by the big turbine planes, top level coaches, awesome raffles, their famous Equinox Talent Quest, and more.

Visitors welcome! Come along and watch the action. Experience a tandem skydive or do your Learn to Skydive Course.

Music, aeroplanes, skydiving and parachuting all afternoon and into the night!

Other Information

How To Get There:
Ramblers Parachute Drop Zone is located at 7353 Brisbane Valley Highway in the Somerset Region.
Directions from: South Brisbane - take Ipswich Road (Ipswich Motorway), then the Toowoomba Bypass (Warrego Highway) towards Esk. Turn off the Warrego Highway after Blacksoil towards Esk, Wivenhoe Dam and South Burnett on the Brisbane Valley Highway. Travel through Fernvale and Esk. Approximately two kilometres past Toogoolawah is Ramblers Parachute Drop Zone sign.
Gold Coast - travel north on the Pacific Highway, take the Logan Toll Road then the Ipswich Motorway, then follow the directions from South Brisbane.


North Brisbane - take the Bruce Highway, then take the Caboolture turnoff onto D'Aguilar Highway. Head through Wamuran and Woodford and Kilcoy. 10 minutes past Kilcoy take the Toogoolawah/Esk turnoff after Brisbane River Bridge onto the Brisbane Valley Highway. Ramblers Parachute Drop Zone sign is before Toogoolawah.
Sunshine Coast - Take the Bruce Highway then the Caloundra/Landsborough turnoff onto Steve Irwin Way. Head past Landsborough, through Beerwah, to Kilcoy over Peachester Range then the D'Aguilar Highway past Kilcoy, then follow the directions for North Brisbane.

Tariff Information:
No entry cost for spectators, visitors invited to come and watch the action.
Tandem Skydives available during the event, bookings essential.
Parachutists need to register to participate.
Free unlimited unpowered campsites available, powered campsites at cost, bookings essential.
Free unlimited parking on site.
