Admission Costs and Entry Information
In 1978, the Brisbane City Council opened Queensland's first planetarium. The Planetarium is named after Sir Thomas Brisbane, a Governor of New South Wales in the 1820s.
Visitors can experience the Cosmic Skydome, Display Zone, Mini Theatre, Observatory and Planetarium shop. The Planetarium is located within the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. It is a 15 minute drive from the city centre.
