Description
Ever been interested in making your own jewellery? Get off to a great start by learning the basic techniques of silversmithing at the Silversmithing Workshop. Learn soldering, sawing and filing to create beautiful and unique pieces including rings, bracelets and bangles at the One Day Taster Silversmithing Workshop. By learning from experienced gold and silversmith Don Ziesemer, you will be amazed at the quality of silver jewellery you can create - everyone will want a piece!

How To Get There:Follow the brown tourist road signs throughout Toowoomba and they will direct you to the Museum. If you are travelling from Brisbane, turn right at the top of the range and left into Margaret Street. Turn right into Lindsay Street at the first roundabout. The Cobb and Co Museum is just the other side of Queen's Park and near the windmill display.
Inclusions:
Cost is AUD150.00 plus cost of materials, and includes expert instruction, morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
The cost of materials will depend on the item/s you make and must be paid in cash to the instructor on the day. As a guide, materials for a ring cost AUD15.00 to AUD25.00, for a bracelet cost AUD30.00 to AUD40.00, and for a bangle AUD50.00 or more.
Workshop attendees must be 16 years and over. Please bring and wear steel capped shoes. Spectators are welcome.
