Cancellation Information:
Due to the limited number of spaces on tours they do not reserve any places unless confirmation is received.
For a booking to be confirmed full monies must be paid to Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks or one of their Agents or Credit Card details provided to Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks. The customer agrees that monies can be deducted from their Credit Card for tours cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or for persons that do not show for check-in at the appointed time on the booked day of departure.
The travel date of the tour may only be altered with more than 48 hours notice to Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks, prior to the originally booked tour.
For tours cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the originally booked departure date then monies will be refunded, less 25 per cent to cover agents and Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks costs incurred in the original booking.
No refund will be given, or departure date altered, for tours cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the originally booked departure date, or for persons who do not show for check-in at the appointed time on the booked day of departure.
For tours cancelled by Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks, customers will be transferred to another tour, or all monies will be refunded for customers who are unable to transfer.

Departure Details:
Tour departs from Horseshoe Bay Magnetic Island. Horseshoe Bay Beach Front, (Pacific Drive) opposite Horseshoe Bay bus terminus and mini roundabout, between public toilets and beach.
Check in at 8.00 a.m. prior to safety briefing and instruction before departing on a guided tour with a maximum of 12 customers, returning by approximately 12.30 p.m. Tour start point may alter due to weather conditions.

Restrictions:
Tours operate with a minimum of two and a maximum of 12 customers.
Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks will not be responsible for any loss or damage to goods left in their possession whilst the tour takes place, or goods carried on the tour, either by the guide, the customer or any other passenger.
Suggested clothing to wear includes:- footwear to get wet (eg. wet suit booties, reef sandals or joggers) swimmers, shorts, shirt, long socks, hat and sunglasses. Also needed are sunscreen and a bottle of water. A small bag containing towel and change of clothing can be left locked up at the start point.
Release forms must be signed prior to participation.
The wearing of life jackets (personal flotation devices) is compulsory.
The wearing of stinger suits is compulsory in the stinger season.
Weather conditions and group ability dictate where the tour operates from and where it goes.
All food provided is suitable for vegetarians, for those with other special dietary requirements they suggest bringing something suitable to eat.

Further Details:
If any person partaking in a tour with Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks has a condition that may affect the progress of the tour in any way, this must be disclosed to the guide prior to commencement of the tour and instruction.
All persons partaking in a sea kayak tour with Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks acknowledge there are potential dangers in sea kayaking and its associated activities, it requires personal physical exertion and they are fit to participate in sea kayaking and its associated activities.
It is the customers' responsibility to arrive on time prepared to start the tour.

Hotel Pick-up:
For customers travelling by public bus on the island, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are at the bus stop five minutes prior to the advertised time for pickup and are waiting in a position so the driver can see you as they approach the bus stop.
For customers travelling by ferry to get to Magnetic Island to partake in the tour, it is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the ferry terminal 15 minutes prior to the advertised departure time in order to purchase your ferry ticket and board the ferry.

Next to public toilets (across the road from bus terminus and mini roundabout).

The cost of the tour is per person in a double sea kayak. Children, family and single kayak prices are available.

Sea Kayak Sunset Tour

Check in approximately two hours before sunset on the beach in Horseshoe Bay. Full instruction and safety brief is provided before launching and a little more instruction on the water to make the tour easier for everyone. The guided tour stays within the sheltered waters of Horseshoe Bay as you take a leisurely paddle out to Horseshoe Bay Point before drifting back over sea grass beds and coral gardens to watch turtles come to the surface to breath close by and wildlife prepare itself for the night's ritual. Reflect over your day, have a chat or sit in silence as you soak up the last rays of the sun with a relaxing drink in hand and watch the sunset behind the anchored sail boats.
