Based in the spectacular Whitsundays Islands, Salty Dog Sea Kayaking have been renting kayaks and running kayaking expeditions since 1996. Their qualified staff have an intimate knowledge of the region and enjoy nothing better than sharing this with their friends and guests.
Comprising more than 70 islands, the Whitsunday Island group is the largest offshore island chain on the east coast of Australia. and as part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, its tropical, clear, warm waters offer some of the most breathtaking and accessible paddling in the world.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Children: Children under 13 are not recommended for these tours unless it is a 'customised trip' catering solely for specific family/group.
Disabled: Please contact operators to discuss disability access and restrictions.
Miscellaneous:
For bookings to be confirmed, they require a minimum 20 per cent deposit. The balance of any payment is due on or before the day of departure. If a trip/rental is cancelled 45 days or more before departure, the full deposit, less a AUD50.00 per person handling fee is refunded. Where notice of cancellation is less than 45 days before the departure date, deposit will be retained up to a maximum of AUD200.00 per person. Salty Dog Sea Kayaking will endeavour to fill any cancelled spot on guided trips. If successful, the full deposit less a AUD50.00 handling fee will be refunded.
Tours depart from Shute Harbour.
Luggage restrictions apply on all tours. Contact operator for a list of suggested luggage and personal items.
Salty Dog Sea Kayaking are affiliated with the Queensland Commercial Sea Kayakers Association.
Pick ups from all Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Shute Harbour accommodation are included.
Their water-front depot is conveniently located at Shute Harbour (also known as Shutehaven) which is located a short drive from the centre of Airlie Beach.
Buses run regularly and frequently between Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour (which is approximately an eight minute drive). A free Courtesy Bus is usually available to collect and return clients on guided trips from their accommodation or dedicated pick-up locations in Airlie Beach.
