Description
The Redcliffe KiteFest is an annual festival celebrating kites of all shapes, sizes and colours.
This festival located at Pelican Park in Clontarf, Queensland attracts over 25,000 people each year. Visitors will enjoy a sky full of amazing colour and over 100 quality market, craft and food stalls as well as aerobatic displays, kite-making workshops and for the first time ever a Saturday night event boasting live stage entertainment and a massive fireworks spectacular - all with a breathtaking backdrop of Moreton Bay.
... moreIn 2013, the Redcliffe KiteFest is pleased to announce the arrival of renowned international kite flyers, including the Canadian/USA Stunt Kite Team iQuad, Kite World Champion Ray Bethell, Japanese Kite Master Mikio Toki and New Zealand's Simon and Lindel Chrisnall who will be showcasing their marvellous creations.
