Ramblers have qualified and experienced instructors who are keen to take you for a tandem skydive or help you gain the skills you will need to ease your way into this unique and fascinating sport. To Do it in Tandem with Ramblers you must be at least 14 years old (14 to 18 require parental authority), of average health and fitness and weigh under 100 kilograms. To Learn to Skydive with Ramblers select from the Skydiving Instructional Packages offered to find what suits you best.

Ramblers is Queensland's largest and longest established skydiving operation. They have been teaching people to jump out of aeroplanes since 1972 and they would like to take you too.

Their active Club has a friendly social atmosphere, the parties are legendary. Backpackers, free camping, extended stays and RV's are welcome.

You have the choice of two Drop Zones: Coolum Beach on the breathtaking Sunshine Coast or Toogoolawah in the picturesque Brisbane Valley of the Lakes. Both Drop Zones are located just over one hour from Brisbane and offer spectacular 360-degree panoramic views. Now imagine this: as you're strapped securely and comfortably to your tandem master, open the door into the exclusive world of skydiving and launch into awesome, unbelievable freefall. Then fly like a bird under a parachute built for two, taking in unique and breathtaking views.

How To Get There:
How to get to the Toogoolawah Drop Zone:
From the north: Follow the Bruce Highway north and take the Caboolture turnoff. Follow the main road through Caboolture. This road becomes the D'Aguilar Highway. Follow this highway through the towns of Wamuran, Woodford and Kilcoy. About ten minutes past Kilcoy, take the Toogoolawah/Esk turnoff on the left straight after the Brisbane River Bridge. You are now on the Brisbane Valley Highway. The Drop Zone is only ten minutes along this highway on the right hand side, before the township of Toogoolawah. You will see the Ramblers Parachute Drop Zone sign. If you find yourself at Toogoolawah you have gone two kilometres too far, come back.

From the Sunshine Coast: Travel to the Caloundra/Landsborough turnoff on the Bruce Highway and follow the signs to Landsborough. This is the Old Bruce Highway. Go past Landsborough and turn right at the Beerwah turnoff. Go through town and follow the signs to Kilcoy. You will travel up and down the Peachester Range, enjoy the rainforest and the views of the Glasshouse Mountains. When you come to a big T-intersection, turn right to head to Kilcoy. This is the D'Aguilar Highway. About ten minutes past Kilcoy, take the Toogoolawah/Esk turnoff on the left straight after the Brisbane River Bridge. You are now on the Brisbane Valley Highway. The Drop Zone is only ten minutes along this highway on the right hand side, before the township of Toogoolawah. You will see the Ramblers Parachute Drop Zone sign. If you find yourself at Toogoolawah you have gone two kilometres too far, come back.

From South Brisbane: Follow Ipswich Road (Ipswich Motorway) all the way (not quite to Ipswich) and take the Toowoomba Bypass (Warrego Highway). Follow all the signs to Esk. Take the turnoff on the right hand side of the road after Blacksoil. The sign says Esk, Wivenhoe Dam, South Burnett. You are now on the Brisbane Valley Highway. Follow this highway all the way to the Drop Zone's front door! This highway goes through the towns of Fernvale and Esk. When you get to Toogoolawah, don't turn off, keep going two kilometres past the actual township as the Drop Zone is on the highway, on the left hand side. You will see the Ramblers Parachute Drop Zone sign.
From the south or Gold Coast: Travel north on the Pacific Highway and take the Logan Toll Road on the left. Follow the toll road to the very end, which arrives you on the Ipswich Motorway. Now follow the directions above.

Tandem Skydive (14,000 feet) at Ramblers Toogoolawah

Tandem skydiving and parachuting at the Ramblers Toogoolawah drop zone, in the picturesque Brisbane Valley, just ""Outback of Brisbane"". Jump from 14,000 feet and freefall for one minute strapped securely and comfortably to your instructor. After the parachute has opened enjoy the view of lakes and mountains. After you land at the Ramblers custom built skydivers drop zone, stay and enjoy the facilities including the pool, barbecue and licensed bar. On weekends you are even invited to stay overnight (free accommodation in the Club bunkhouse) and enjoy the smorgasbord dinner, bonfire and party. You'll be amongst friends and be made to feel welcome.

Learning To Skydive Courses at Ramblers Drop Zone - Toogoolawah

Learn to skydive at Ramblers drop zone at Toogoolawah. Choose from one of the internationally accredited Skydiving Course Packages. Choose from a one day one jump course to 10 day 20 jump packages.

All courses include coaching from qualified instructors, state of the art equipment, all jumps from 14,000 feet including a 60 second freefall and free Clubhouse accommodation.

The 20 jump Addiction Package includes video coverage of all Course jumps, photos, upgraded accommodation, international A licence, packing qualification and much more.
