Pro Dive Cairns is Australia's Premier PADI Dive School as well as a leading outer reef liveaboard dive trip operator. Since 1983 they have developed an international reputation for quality, professionalism, safety and value. They specialise in dive courses, three day dive trips, retail sales of dive, snorkel and water sports equipment. Dive courses are conducted at their modern training centre with Cairns' deepest diver training pool and their three multi-million dollar dive boats are the only purpose built outer reef liveaboards in the area that can travel around from reef to reef. Dive courses and liveaboard trips commence six times a week to add flexibility to your itinerary.

Cancellation Information:
Cancellation policy: Three day two night liveaboard trip - Full refund of all the money paid direct to Pro Dive Cairns for cancellations made up until 48 hours prior to departure. No refund if Pro Dive Cairns is notified less than 48 hours prior to departure.
Five Day PADI Learn to Dive Course - Full refund of all the money paid direct to Pro Dive Cairns for cancellations made before 6pm on day 1 of the course. No refund for any reason for cancellations after 1800 on day 1 of the course.

Further Details:
Manuals and exams are available in a variety of languages. Requirements: ability to swim, minimum age of 12 years with no maximum age.

Hotel Pick-up:
Pro Dive Cairns pick up from all Cairns and Northern Beaches accommodation.

How To Get There:
ProDive Cairns Retail Shop is located on the corner of Grafton and Shields Street, Cairns.
ProDive Cairns Training Centre is located at 116 Spence Street, Cairns.

Tariff Information:
An additional fee of AUD50.00 per person is payable direct to Pro Dive Cairns. This fee consists of AUD16.50 Government Environmental Management Charge, Port Departure Tax and administration costs. This is applicable to all passengers travelling on the three-day/two-night Liveaboard Dive Trip and/or dive courses combined in this trip.
An additional charge of AUD55.00 for a dive medical (AS4005.1) is applicable for the PADI five day learn to dive course. This is payable direct to the doctor on day one of the dive course.
Reef Teach is not included but is available as an optional extra at an additional cost.

One day is never enough! The best way to really experience the Great Barrier Reef is to stay out there overnight. This gives you much more time to really enjoy the reef in a more relaxed environment. The amount of diving and snorkelling you'll get to do as well as the opportunity to do night dives combined with two nights accommodation, makes this liveaboard adventure unmatched for experience and value.

The premium dive boats provide you with fully air-conditioned, comfortable and spacious living conditions. Accommodation on board is all double or twin share at no extra cost.

PADI 5 Day Learn To Dive Course

Thinking about taking the plunge? Their five day PADI 'Open Water' course is the most popular way to combine the adventure of learning to dive with the excitement of exploring the spectacular beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, making it a memorable highlight for many visitors to Cairns. This course is unmatched for experience and value.

This course consists of two days of theory and pool training then a three day two night liveaboard trip. You will get the chance to do nine dives (four training and five pleasure), all gear hire, meals onboard and transfers to and from your Cairns central accommodation are included.
