Paradise Lagoons Val and Tom Acton MBE Memorial Complex
The purpose designed and constructed Paradise Val and Tom Acton MBE Memorial Complex was officially opened on Friday 2 May, 2003 by the Hon. John Anderson MP, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Ed McCormack President National Campdraft Association. During speeches, Graeme and Evan Acton outlined their decision to name the magnificent complex in honour of their parents, the late Val and Tom Acton MBE, both of whom shared a passion for horse sports of all disciplines.
The complex was designed and constructed specifically for the Australian developed sport of campdrafting. It features an all-weather arena, first class cattle yards and laneways with remote controlled gateways.
