General Comments
Whale One is a luxurious 20 metre catamaran, well equipped and fully licenced to offer comfortable cruising in the canals and offshore waters of the Sunshine Coast.
How To Get There
Departing Daily from The Wharf, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba - parking just opposite Underwater World. Mooloolaba the central hub of the Sunshine Coast situated one hour north of Brisbane.

Mooloolaba Harbour Sunset Cruise
Enjoy the comfort of Whale One with good friends and family. Cruising the Mooloolah River taking in the sights of the beautiful homes up and down the canals then heading out to the Mooloolaba Bay (weather dependant) for some of the best views the Sunshine Coast has to offer. As the soft late afternoon light falls in over the Glasshouse Mountains the spectacular sunset makes photography easy.
This cruise is a favourite for a relaxing end to the day or the beginning of a great night out with cruises back by 7.30pm. Whilst onboard you can dance to our local entertainers or just sit on the deck and tap your feet. Complimentary fresh local horse devours, dips, canapes and chesses available onboard (these are nibbles not a dinner)
Whale One is available for Corporate Functions, Private Charters, Weddings and Parties all year round.

Winter Season trips run from June through to August and leave The Wharf at 1600 hours. Rest of Year trips run from September to May and leave The Wharf at 1700 hours. Passengers should arrive 10 minutes prior to advertised departure time to allow for boarding. Trips may not run every night - check availability when booking.

Sunset Cruises run all year round. Selected nights please check availability when booking. Arrive at the Wharf 15 minutes prior to departure. Trips are number dependant. Trips can be cancelled due to bad weather.

4 hour Whale Watching Cruise
Whale Watching Cruises operate seven days a week June to November. Whale One is a luxurious 65 foot catamaran offering total comfort with air conditioned cabins, full walk around decks for total 360 degree viewing, two toilets, onboard licensed bar, seating for 115 passengers.
Four hour whale watching from Mooloolaba includes morning or afternoon tea, guaranteed whales, educational and fun commentary and total comfort on your cruise.
Enjoy humpback whales on their northern migration during June, July and August as they head north to mate. During August, September, October and early November the whales will be making their way south heading back to the Antarctic to feed for the summer. The calves will be playing around the Sunshine coast during this time, watch and be amazed at how playful these humpbacks are, you may even be lucky enough to have an up close and personal encounter with a humpback whale - this is most likely to happen during August.

Scenic Lunch Cruise
This two hour scenic lunch cruise departs the Wharf during November through May each year, departing Wednesdays to Sundays only.
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch which includes complimentary tea and coffee. Your buffet includes fresh local school prawns, a variety of cold meats and salads and bread rolls.
Whilst you enjoy your lunch enjoy the fabulous view as we cruise the canals of the Mooloolah River and the Mooloolaba Bay (weather permitting). Fully licensed bar onboard with a wide selection of imported and local beverages
Your cruise aboard Whale One will be total comfort with lush lounge seating inside air conditioned cabin areas on the lower and upper deck or comfy seating on the upper covered deck. Seating capacity for 80 sit down meals or 115 for cocktail type dining.
Whale One Mooloolaba is available for private charters, corporate functions, parties, and weddings.
