St Helena Island By Day and By Night will help you relive those times during a dramatised tour of this historic site National Park. St Helena Island, once known as 'The Hell Hole of the Pacific' is now a tranquil isle set in Brisbane's Moreton Bay, just a short journey from Manly. For 65 years this pretty spot was home to some of the worst criminals Queensland could produce. Cat o' Nine Tails Cruises has regular day and night cruises to St Helena. Be adventurous and try the Ghost Tour or come during the day and enjoy the spectacular views whilst being enthralled by the stories of old St Helena.

Prison Life Experience

St Helena Island - Prison Life Experience allows the visitor to feel the way a prisoner felt when incarcerated on St Helena. Using drama, the guides will make you feel the agony and desperation of these men locked up just a short distance from their homes, often for minor offences by today's standard.

St Helena did also have its dark side as it housed some of the worst criminals in Queensland. Come along and hear their stories.

Join the Cat o' Nine Tails at Manly and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner as we cruise to St Helena. Superintendant Ryan will then lead you onto the island where the action begins. Be prepared for the unexpected as various characters from the old prison come to life as the story unfolds you will hear about the lives of the prisoners who never left the island. The final scene at the cemetery you will have to come to see.
