Created by David Gordon A.M. in the 1940s, the story of Myall Park Botanic Garden is one of romance, vision and generosity. This natural bush garden is a perfect destination for botanists, gardeners, bird watchers, photographers, artists and bush walkers.
How To Get There
Myall Park Botanic Garden is located approximately 400 kilometres from Brisbane and is situated just seven kilometres out of town from Glenmorgan on the western edge of the Western Downs Region. To find the garden is easy. Follow the Moonie Highway west from Dalby and take the signs to Tara. Continue through to Glenmorgan, then follow the signs to the Garden. There is about three kilometres of good dirt road to get to the Garden.
The garden is also only 65 kilometres east of Surat. Just follow the Surat Developmental Road east of Surat until you see the signs to the Garden.
