Just one hour's drive from the centre of Brisbane, Lake Maroon is located in the heart of the Scenic Rim, Boonah. Lake Maroon is ideal for camping and fast becoming one of Queensland's most popular places for sailing, fishing, water skiing, parasailing and paddle boating. How To Get There:
Follow the Western Freeway and take the left hand exit at the roundabout to the Ipswich Motorway and continue along the Cunningham Highway until the Frazerview exit, then turn right at Boonah - Fassifern Road Kents Pocket, and continue along Yeates Avenue, turning right on the Boonah Rathdowney Road, where you will follow the exit to the Maroon Dam.
