King Opal is a unique Gold Coast tourist destination allowing visitors to view and purchase from the largest selection of exquisite Australian opals direct from the miners.
Since the 1880s, Australia's beautiful and extraordinary gemstone, the opal has been mined in the outback. Today, more than 95 per cent of the world's opals are sourced from Australia. On arrival you will experience their opal cutting workshop, a presentation on opal history by their friendly staff that covers all types of opals followed by the opportunity to explore their extensive and exclusive showroom.

How To Get There
Their location is about 25 kilometres north of Surfers Paradise and 40 kilometres south of Brisbane, five minutes from the major theme parks. You can exit the highway from both directions at the Sanctuary Cove exit 57. Travel east and turn right at the traffic light into Siganto Drive. Travel south for about 500 metres and you will find them on the left just after the pedestrian overpass. Hope to see you there soon.
