Set in the pristine Daintree Rainforest at Cape Tribulation, the multi award-winning Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you on a unique rainforest tour where your feet don't touch the ground. Seated comfortably in full body harnesses, Jungle Surfers fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at five eco-friendly tree platforms to take in spectacular bird's eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef.
... moreThe tour is a mixture of exhilaration and education, and the abseiling and scientist guides share their rainforest wit and wisdom with interpretive talks on each platform. The team also use a unique flight system, making this the only flying fox in the world where you can fly hands-free and carefree, without any previous experience. One of Queensland's 'must do' experiences, Jungle Surfing takes around two hours and is the adventure activity for all ages from three to 103.
As the sun sets over the trees, the animals stir and the forest comes to life, Jungle Adventures also offer a nightwalk to experience the dark side of the Daintree. Armed with a flashlight, venture into a fascinating nocturnal world little changed in 120 million years!

Cancellation Policy
No refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of tour departure. All other cancellations incur a 10 per cent administration fee. J
Jungle Surfing is an all-weather activity and will only be cancelled in severe weather conditions such as cyclones and severe electrical storms. If the operator cancels the tour then a full refund will be given.
General Comments
Jungle Surfing is not suitable for persons over 120 kilograms or pregnant women.
How To Get There
Cape Tribulation is two and a half to three hours drive north of Cairns, one and a half to two hours north of Port Douglas. Jungle Surfing offers courtesy transfers from all accommodation in Cape Tribulation. Day visitors to Cape Tribulation should meet at the Snake House, next to PK's Jungle Village on Cape Tribulation Road. No private vehicles allowed on Jungle Surfing property.

Jungle Adventures Nightwalks
Jungle Adventures don't need to build you a time machine; they'll just give you a torch and take you to a world little changed in 120 million years! Most rainforest creatures are nocturnal so keep a look out for snakes, lizards, frogs, spiders, bandicoots, birds, insects and more as you get to know the dark side of the forest. Walks follow natural trails, take around two hours and require moderate fitness. Torches and raincoats are provided and walks depart daily at 7.30 p.m.
