Whether it's a quick stopover for a bite to eat, or a day out with family and friends, Graham Andrews Parklands is always a great place to stop, relax and stretch your legs.

The park has peaceful surrounds, lake, barbecues, rustic native gardens, Outback Timber Walk, adventure playground for the kids and the fascinating Vortex Gun display. All the ingredients you'll need for a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Stop to feed the locals ducks and geese, they are never too far away.

Dusk and dawn are great times to take a quiet moment to hear the song (or screech!) of the Australian native birdlife in the park. Birds often found in the park include: Galahs, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, Red Rump Parrots and a whole variety of finches and small wrens (including the Willy Wag Tail).

A short leisurely stroll around the lake will help you identify 18 different species of Outback trees. At the top end of the park learn of the desperate measures early settlers took to break a drought - using the now infamous Steiger Vortex Rainmaking Guns.

Children are welcome. An adventure playground and playground equipment are situated throughout the park.

Pets Allowed:
Yes. Pets are allowed, however, they must be restrained at all times.

How To Get There:
Head south of Charleville towards Cunnamulla on the Matilda / Mitchell Highway until you see Graham Andrews Parklands on the right. You can enter either in a pull off parking area near the Vortex Guns or continue down the road a little further to the Enterprise Drive turn-off where more parking is available.
