The Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens are a must see for tourists and locals alike. The Gardens are set on 31 hectares, just 10 minutes drive from central Surfers Paradise.
There's an experience for everyone - smell and touch plants and flowers at the Sensory Garden, take a mangroves to mountain walk, check out the local species, visit the native Butterfly Garden or smell the roses in the Rose Garden. Fun for the whole family includes a stroll on the boardwalks around the lake, a children's playground, a picnic in one of the many picnic areas, and even treat the dog to a play in the off-leash dog area. Guided walks are available by prior appointment.

The Gardens are located off Ashmore Road, Benowa, opposite Benowa State High School and there is visitors parking on site.
How To Get There
Coming from the Gold Coast Highway - turn onto Via Roma, continuing through Salerno Street and Ashmore Road to the Botanic Gardens. 10 minutes travel time.
Coming from the M1 Motorway - take the Southport-Nerang Road exit, turn right onto Ashmore Road, and follow to the Botanic Gardens. 10 minutes travel time.
