Eddie Santaguiliana Way

Travel by train or drive to Cleveland and commence a walk to Thornlands via the Eddie Santaguiliana Way. The trail is primarily off road on constructed one metre to three metre footpath. Small sections are on suburban footpaths or on road cycleway. There is signage along the boardwalk section which stretches for approximately eight kilometres along the coastline.

Parks include Raby Harbour Park Linear Park, Oyster Point Park, Cape Cleveland, Manning Esplanade Park, Henry Ziegenfusz Sportsfields, Primrose Drive Wetland Park and Baythorn Drive Park. There is plenty of shade, access to Toondah Harbour and ferries to North Stradbroke Island, Redland RSL, medical centre, Cleveland Town Centre, Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland Markets (Sunday). The trail is marked with signs for most of the way to Baythorn Park. Council's pedestrian and cycling maps show the trail marked. These are available on Council's website and also have been printed.
