Please note that Deep Sea Divers Den must receive at least 48 hours notice from you when choosing to cancel a reservation. In excess of 48 hours notice all money paid to Deep Sea Divers Den will be refunded. Cancellation refunds are not given within 48 hours notice. This includes factors beyond your control including medical problems, airline delays, bad weather.
Cancellation fees: More than 48 hours or more prior to reserved course/trip commencement date: no charge. Less than 48 hours prior to reserved course/trip commencement: no refund.

Further Details:
If you are enrolling in a learn to dive course you must undergo a dive medical to Australian Standard AS4005.1 Dive Medicals are arranged on the first day of your dive course in the training center.
If you have any concern about your health Deep Sea Divers Den strongly recommend that you arrange a dive medical before starting the course. This medical must be issued in English on a doctors letterhead indicating that you are fit to scuba dive and that the medical was done to Australian Standard AS4005.1.

No experience is necessary, simply the ability to complete a 200 metre swim and a 10 minute float. Deep Sea Divers Den training facility offers six air conditioned classrooms, dive medical service, heated three metre deep diving pool and retail shop. All courses require a Dive Medical to Australian Standard 4005.1 and can be conducted on the first day of your course (some medical conditions may prevent you from diving, please check with us for more information). Day one and two does not include accommodation.

Snorkel and Dive

Deep Sea Divers Den has a choice of 17 different permanent locations on the Outer Reef from which to choose. Purpose built for diving and snorkelling, ReefQuest allows you to experience the best of the Great Barrier Reef.

Locations include sites on Norman, Saxon and Hastings Reefs which are approximately 60 kilometres off shore. With less than 90 minutes travelling time, you can be assured of a true Outer Reef experience.

Introductory Diving If you have never tried scuba diving before you can experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef by joining their experienced dive instructors on an introductory dive. Simply complete and pass a medical questionnaire, listen to a short briefing and you're off to blow bubbles underwater!
