A distinctive landmark near Murgon, a flat-topped ridge shaped like an upturned boat, gives its name to Boat Mountain Conservation Park. Rising to a height of 589 metres, Boat Mountain offers panoramic views across the South Burnett countryside. The surrounding landscape forms a tapestry that changes as crops ripen.
