Besides a variety of guided Tours, 1770 Liquid Adventures also offers Kayak Hire. Available all day, you can explore the beautiful waterways of 1770 at your own time and leisure.
How To Get There
1770 is located 1.5 hours from both Gladstone and Bundaberg and is 5.5 hours north of Brisbane.
1770 Liquid Adventures is located at 520 Captain Cook Drive, 200 metres past the 1770 Marina/Boat Ramp.
Family Fun Tour
The Family Fun Tour focuses on fun for the whole family!
Starting point is at the 1770 foreshore just past the Marina. After gearing everyone up with lifejackets, a brief introduction on safety and paddling techniques follows. All kids are given a bird and marine life identification slate to use on the tour.
You then paddle along the shore, feed some fish, explore the mangroves and try to spot some birds and marine life which the kids can identify with their slates. After that you're off to the sandbar for some morning tea, beach games and swimming.
While the kids play, mum can enjoy a natural face mask and relax.

Sunset Tour
Join 1770 Liquid Adventures on a fully guided Sunset Kayak Tour through the magnificent waterways of 1770 and around the Sir Joseph Banks Conservation area.
The tour starts at the 1770 foreshore where we meet to gear up and get some tips on safety and paddling techniques.
We paddle past Captain Cooks landing point, stop at a secluded beach and then onto the Headland to spot wild dolphins, turtles and other marine life. Surf some waves (optional and weather depending), or just relax on a secluded beach.
Finish the day by watching one of 1770's famous ocean sunsets while you enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks overlooking Bustard Bay.

1770 Creek Explorer
A morning exploring the Mangroves.
This relaxed tour will take you along the Mangroves and inland into Round Hill Creek. Enjoy the tranquility of the Mangrove canals, explore and learn about the history of 1770 and Agnes Water. Spot birds, crabs, stingrays, estuary dolphins and other wildlife along the way.
Have a rest while we stop for some morning tea at a beach before returning to our starting point at the 1770 Foreshore.
