Rather than a museum of fossils and old bones, Museum of Brisbane is part of the living history of the city, examining how Brisbane and its people continue to change over time and revealing how each of our individual and collective stories are the milestones of the city's evolution. The Museum explores seemingly ordinary people and places of Brisbane to uncover unexpected and fascinating stories.

How To Get There:
Museum of Brisbane is located in City Hall adjacent to King George Square, entry is through the King George Square entrance. Take the lifts located on the right of the building, just out the front of the Shingle Inn up to level 3. Please note, you can not access the Museum via stairs. The Museum is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from Central and Roma Street train stations.
There is a major bus interchange underneath King George Square and Queen Street Mall, as well as many bus stops along Adelaide Street.
CityCats operate seven days a week; the closest ferry terminal is North Quay.
Paid car parking is available at the King George Square Car Park, located directly underneath King George Square.
