His secrets were hidden for thousands of years. Now this spectacular exhibition from the British Museum will reveal the life and death of Nesperennub, a temple priest who lived almost 3,000 years ago. A prized treasure of the British Museum, Nesperennub's mummy has remained intact and untouched for almost 3000 years, unlike many other mummies found in ancient Egyptian tombs over the years.
A combined 3D film and exhibition experience will explore his mummification and lead you on a journey to uncover the mysterious rituals and breathtaking beauty of life and death in ancient Egypt. This ground-breaking experience brings you face to face with the ancient past as the mummy of Nesperennub is virtually unwrapped using the most advanced medical scanning technology currently available.
