Description
As you step out onto the observation deck at Brisbane Lookout Mount Coot-tha, the panoramic views of Brisbane City stretching out to Moreton Bay and around to the distant mountains greet you. These spectacular views are only a short drive from the city centre. At night, the city lights and star-lit skies are spread before you.
Set amongst beautifully manicured gardens and nestled in the natural bushland of Brisbane Forest Park, is the Summit Restaurant and Bar, Function Centre, Kuta Cafe and Gift Shop and Observation Deck. Interpretive facilities pointing out well known Brisbane landmarks is located on the observation deck.
Around the vicinity of the Lookout, there is also a handful of bushwalks for the walking enthusiasts. Take the Aboriginal Track down to Slaughter's Falls and keep your eye out for some original Aboriginal art. Mt Coot-tha is also scattered with picnic areas fully equipped with gas barbecues.

Children are welcome. A children's menu is available at both the Kuta Cafe and Summit Restaurant for children under 12.
Disabled:
All areas of the Brisbane Lookout and facilities are accessible by wheelchair. Disabled parking located at the entrance of the top car park and disabled toilet facilities are also provided.
Pets Allowed:
Yes. Pets are only allowed on leash and if well behaved. Pets are not allowed within the Summit Restaurant and Kuta Cafe. Guide Dogs are the exception.

Summit Restaurant - open Queensland designed offering a la Carte menu of contemporary, Australian cuisine. Intimate dinners to group functions catered for.
The Summit Restaurant and Bar offers a menu of contemporary Australian cuisine with an extensive wine list. Take a seat on the open deck or venture inside, where terraced seating allows everyone the same breathtaking views. The Summit also offers two private dining areas for functions or corporate events. Take a historical walk, with the timeline of photos from the venue over the last century and see how the facilities have changed. Being a heritage listed building, particular features from the original building are still evident.
Further Details:
The Kuta Cafe, located adjacent to the Summit offers a more relaxed and casual venue for visitors. Choose from a selection of freshly made sandwiches, hot meals or cakes, coffees and alcoholic beverages. Dine on the sun drenched terrace or inside where floor to ceiling glass doors allow you to take in the sights. Remember to take a browse through the Gift and Souvenir Shop before you leave.
How To Get There:
Access to the property from Brisbane City - head west via Milton Road to Western Freeway roundabout and then follow the directional signs to Mount Coot-tha lookout.
