Mount Mee Forest Reserve is situated at the northern end of the D'Aguilar Range. This huge expanse of rainforest and eucalypt forest offers picnicking visitors clear creeks and scenic lookouts. Inspect the remains of the antique sawmill in the Gantry day-use area. Take the Piccabeen Palm walk to learn about the area's forest and its logging history. (Visitors in wheelchairs can access this walk with assistance). Fit walkers can hike the Somerset trail to enjoy views of Somerset and Wivenhoe lakes. Campers can stay at Neurum Creek or the more remote Archer camping area (four wheel drive access only). A permit is required for four-wheel-driving on a number of restricted access roads. Mount Mee Forest Reserve is around 20 kilometres south-west of Woodford via Mount Mee Road.
