Take an easy 10 minute stroll along the elevated boardwalk that meanders through the lower rainforest canopy and return along the riverside track, enjoying views from several small lookouts along the way. Be amazed by bright butterflies and look closely for well-camouflaged Boyd's forest dragons clinging to tree trunks. More adventurous visitors can cross the Rex Creek suspension bridge and enjoy the 2.4 kilometre Rainforest circuit track through lush rainforest.... less

There is access for mobility-impaired and vision-impaired visitors. The boardwalk, toilets and picnic area near the car park are wheelchair accessible. The boardwalk is also suitable for strollers and vision-impaired visitors.
How To Get There
From Cairns, travel 80 kilometres north to Mossman. Before reaching the town centre, turn left into Johnston Road and continue along Mossman Gorge Road to the Mossman Gorge Centre. Electric shuttle buses operate daily from the centre transporting visitors the final two kilometres into the park (fees apply). Visitors can walk or cycle into the park at no cost. Visitors in private vehicles can access the park before 8am and after 6pm. Please drive slowly and with particular care when passing the Mossman Gorge Aboriginal community. Caravans and large campervans are not recommended on the narrow road beyond the Mossman Gorge Centre.
