Description

The Misty Mountains wilderness walking tracks are a 130 kilometre network of short walks and long-distance hiking tracks, rewarding bushwalkers with attractive waterfalls, lush rainforest and panoramic views. Experienced bushwalkers can choose from four different two- to four-day hikes. Many sections of these tracks can also be undertaken as individual one day short walks.

How To Get There:
There are multiple access points to the Misty Mountains wilderness walking tracks, via Tully, Innisfail, Mena Creek, Millaa Millaa or Ravenshoe; two to three hours drive from Cairns. Parts of some roads are unsealed and four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended. All roads are unsuitable for caravans, motor homes or buses.
