Longreach School of Distance Education (LSODE) or ""School of the Air"" acts as the heartbeat of education for almost 200 students spread throughout Central West Queensland. LSODE caters for the education of isolated students in an area about twice the size of Victoria!
Visitors may be offered the chance to listen to an on-air lesson during a guided tour. The staff at the school are proud in the knowledge that they are nurturing bright, young and industrious rural Australians. As the LSODE motto indicates ""Effort Conquers Distance!""

ENTRY INFORMATION
Open Times:
Tours at 0900 and 1030 Monday to Friday. From February to December tours commence at 0900 and conlcude at 1030. Closed public holidays and Christmas school holidays.
